20 Years Banknote Sorting Machine Manufacturers & Suppliers - Grace Cash Sorting Machine
On January 21, 2026, the Central Bank of Honduras in Central America announced the issuance of a new circulation commemorative banknote with a face value of 200 lempira. The circulation is 20 million copies.
This is a tribute to Ms. Bota Isabelle Casares Flores (1971-2016), a female environmental activist who has made outstanding contributions to the country's environmental cause.
On the front, there is a portrait of the great Honduran environmental activist Bota Caceres wearing a checkered shirt, and on the right side of the background is the Guarac River, the "sacred river" of Honduras that she defended with her short but great life.
On the back is a picture of her hometown of La Esperanza, with her famous quote: "Awaken, humanity! Time is running out
